With a background in musical theater performance, I'm passionate about incorporating
all aspects of my training into my work in the Creative Arts Therapies.
As I work towards refining my practice as a soon-to-be dance/movement therapist, I am constantly overjoyed by the wide-ranging and incredible creativity that is shared with me!

Dance/Movement Therapy

The American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) defines dance/movement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional, social, cognitive and physical integration of the individual.
My Experience:
My internship experience includes 3 clinical rotations within the NYC Health + Hospitals system. From working with children to adults, I enjoy utilizing a multimodal approach in my group and individual work.
Training:
While in a training program, we are required to complete 940 hours in a clinical internship in addition to continued education in psychology and theory-based classes.
